The Battle of Flowers Spectacular - One of the most spectacular carnivals in Europe.
Enjoy the spectacle of flower festooned floats, musicians, dancers and entertainers providing a tremendous carnival atmosphere for one of the highlights in our summer events calendar.
The day parade takes place on Friday afternoon from 16.00 along Victoria Avenue followed by a concert from Eurovision performer, Sam Ryder! The Moonlight Parade will follow the same route from 20.30 on Saturday night where the flower covered floats are draped in hundreds of lights to give a magical experience..
History
In 1902, to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, Jersey decided to hold a parade. The event was so succesful that it was decided to repeat it the following year and a tradition was established.
