The Monterey Hotel – Sure Collection by Best Western closes for January to early February. The Norfolk Lodge opens from April to October, for exact dates please check availability or contact our reservations office.
Each hotel has a limited number of single rooms which are available. However, where a twin or double room is used for 'sole occupancy’ meal charges will be reduced accordingly.
We have a number of upgraded room types from our standard rooms. At the Best Western Royal there are Executive rooms, some with a four poster bed, upgraded snack tray and toiletries; Balcony/patio rooms, these contain different bed layouts, balcony or patio access with larger bathrooms. We also have four suites with a separate seating area from the bedroom, coffee pod machine and upgraded toiletries.
The Monterey Hotel has a number of superior rooms. Some of these are larger than the standard rooms and others have direct pool patio access with walk-in showers. All are equipped with iron, ironing board, mini fridge and bathrobes.

Children are accommodated free of charge on all dates when sharing a room with two adults. Infants aged 0 to 2 years receive meals free of charge on same board terms as parents. For children aged 3 to 12 years there is a food charge for the same board terms as parents.
Meals may be taken in addition to pre-booked board terms and can be booked daily at reception, where menus and prices are displayed.
A welcome pack is provided on arrival at Uplands Apartments.
No deposit is required to book Flexible rates however, a credit card number will be required to guarantee the booking.
One night's deposit will be charged on discounted semi-flexible rates.

We entered through the car park and up very dated stairs to the new reception area. Staff were very helpful but our impression was of a slightly tired hotel. This continued in the corridor to our bedroom - first floor with a balcony and sea view. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, but both could do with updating....
Staff in this hotel were wonderful - polite, courteous, professional, and very, very, very helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfasts - Full and Continental - had plenty of choice. With a central location - a short walk into St Helier. Guests had the use of the swimming pool and spa at the twin hotel Monteray.

Great hotel for all ages, indoor pool is a bonus for bad weather and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Stayed here for 4 nights. Very helpful and polite staff in all areas, a credit to the Hotel! The hotel was very nice and comfortable, although a little tired looking, especially the bedroom/bathroom.
