  1. For bookings made through an agent, as opposed to you making it with us directly, it is your agent who will be in touch with you at the appropriate time. Please do not contact us directly, it is for your agent to advise you.
  2. For bookings made with us directly, either via our reservations or the Morvan Hotels website, we would ask that you kindly wait for us to contact you. We are reviewing bookings made for 2020 in date order and will keep you informed.
  3. For bookings made with Best Western, please contact Best Western directly with the information on your booking details.

Opening dates

Due to the COVID-19 situation some properties are presently closed. Please see the CV19 update if you have an affected booking and when we are able to reopen.

The Best Western Royal Hotel and the Uplands Self Catering Apartments are open all year.

The Monterey Hotel – Sure Collection by Best Western closes for January to early February. The Fort d’Auvergne and the Norfolk Lodge are open from April to October, for exact dates for each hotel please check availability or contact our reservations office.

Single Rooms

Each hotel has a limited number of single rooms which are available. However, where a twin or double room is used for 'sole occupancy’ meal charges will be reduced accordingly.

Child Rates

Children are accommodated free of charge on all dates when sharing a room with two adults. Infants aged 0 to 2 years receive meals free of charge on same board terms as parents. For children aged 3 to 15 years there is a food charge for the same board terms as parents. 

Meals

Meals may be taken in addition to pre-booked board terms and can be booked daily at reception, where menus and prices are displayed.

 A welcome pack is provided on arrival at Uplands Apartments.

Deposit

No deposit is required to book Flexible rates however, a credit card number will be required to guarantee the booking.

One night's deposit will be charged on discounted semi-flexible Rates.

Cancellations

Cancellation terms are shown as part of the on line booking process on our website or Best Western.

In the event of cancellation the following charges apply:

  • Flexible Rates - Up to 48 hours prior to arrival - No charge.
  • Semi-Flexible Rates - One night's accommodation.
  • Offer Rates – Full charge

VISA, Mastercard & American Express credit cards are accepted. Debit cards are also accepted.

Taxes

All local taxes are included in these rates.

We entered through the car park and up very dated stairs to the new reception area. Staff were very helpful but our impression was of a slightly tired hotel. This continued in the corridor to our bedroom - first floor with a balcony and sea view. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, but both could do with updating....
Staff in this hotel were wonderful - polite, courteous, professional, and very, very, very helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfasts - Full and Continental - had plenty of choice. With a central location - a short walk into St Helier. Guests had the use of the swimming pool and spa at the twin hotel Monteray.
Had a wonderful week at the hotel. We had an apartment. Swimming pool and gardens were fabulous. Apartment was excellent. Hotel staff were friendly and good. Maître di was a bit rude in his attitude and made a few errors towards residents. The hotel needs to update with WiFi. Jersey needs to accommodate the visitors by making the car parking...
Great hotel for all ages, indoor pool is a bonus for bad weather and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good if you liked cooked breakfast, although wish there was more fresh fruit. Stayed here for 4 nights. Very helpful and polite staff in all areas, a credit to the Hotel! The hotel was very nice and comfortable, although a little tired looking, especially the bedroom/bathroom. The Royal to find it get a good map but its actually in a great spot central to St Helier , Good car parking under neath a archway to the side of the royal.the room are big enough clean an tidy our room 203 is one to stay clear of noisy in the mornings as its on a fire door...

Hotel is about 15 minute walk from the town centre through Millennium Park. Very friendly, attentive & helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with a very good choice. Outdoor pool area very pleasant to use after a day out.
The Monterey Hotel, in St Hellier is situated in a convenient area with just a 10 minute walk to the town and wonderful childrens' park.
