The hotel staff were friendly and polite and helped carry our bags to our room. Although there is a lift it is accessed by stairs and so are some of the rooms. Not a problem if you are able bodied. It is part of the querkyness of the layout of the hotel which has been extended and altered over many...
I recently visited the Norfolk Lodge with a large group, everyone was welcoming their breakfast (served early especially for us!) was lovely with a wide range to chose from, my room (twin) was quite big, and the bar staff brilliant
Rooms clean, staff could not be more helpful nothing to much trouble, food very good hot tasty and plenty of it we really enjoyed our stay helped with trips great advice on the town and what to do not faults at all.
close to town centre, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Good food, clean rooms, small pool. Restaurant staff and the chef were wonderful, helped us celebrate our anniversary with a lovely meal and champagne. entertainment not bad (made the other guest mix and chat in the evening) thank you for an enjoyable stay.
We stayed at this hotel in May 2016. We had a very comfortable double room/en suite shower, which looked out onto the swimming pool complex. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and willing to assist with booking day trips with local coach firms. The dining room was efficiently organised and service was excellent. The food was well cooked and varied...
Back home yesterday after a 3 night break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sfaff, facilities and food were excellent. Our only small grumble was the bathroom. Nowhere to put things and peg on the door was a bit high to reach!! Otherwise a comfortable stay. Hope we can visit again soon.
Hotel location central to easily get to ferry shopping and cycle routes. Room comfortable and clean. Swimming pool good enough to swim in. Breakfast good selection. Porridge creamy lovely smoked haddock. Evening meals very good value. Good selection. Loved the calvery, pasta and desserts are amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Entertainment is fun. Here for 10 days and made...
Stayed here for the second time in April this year (previous visit was nearly five years previous! Hotel owners have refurbished and is now a very pleasant place to stay. We had a family room in the separate annex. The room was very large with en-suite, TV and coffee making facilities. I found the beds a little firm but this...
We went with 50 plus others on a visit with our old car club. At a time when you would expect the hotel to be challenged with so many people turning up, and leaving, almost together, the staff coped admirably and in a very friendly helpful manner. Our room was spotlessly clean and very well serviced. When we asked to...
The hotel owners have tried very hard to make the best they can of what is basically an old building. There appear to be lots of coridoors and rooms in all directions. We asked for a quiet room away from the road noise and we got that, but the dividing walls and ceilings are quite thin, so there was noise...
